Where to go for new Water Service

Pasquotank County and the City of Elizabeth City both have their own water systems.

There are some exceptions, but generally, if an address is inside city limits, water service is provided by the City of Elizabeth City Water Department. Please contact the Elizabeth City Customer Service office, located at 306 East Colonial Avenue, to establish service.

For water service outside city limits, contact the Pasquotank County Water Department, located at 317 McPherson St, to establish service.
