Geographic Information Systems (GIS)

The Pasquotank County/Elizabeth City Geographical Information Systems Department currently maintains a database of all Pasquotank County parcels. This consists of over 19000 parcels within the county boundaries and covers a total of 289 square miles. Several different map layers are maintained to provide up to date information to the County’s residents, businesses and prospective business clients. The map layers currently maintained by the department include the following:

Parcels
Dimensions, size, ownership
Digital Orthophotos
Color photography flown Feb-Mar 2003;
Roads
Location and address ranges
Flood
Existing and preposed DFIRMs
Subdivisions
Location and number of lots

Most of the available layers are available for viewing on the Interactive Map.

Custom Maps

The Public has several options of customized maps available to them in the Pasquotank County GIS Department.  Parcel lines, dimensions, ownership, flood zone and many other types of information are available to be printed on maps. Additionally, the data can be copied to CD or DVD. The following rates apply.

Contact Information

The GIS Office is located in the Pasquotank County Building located at 203 E. Main Street. The door is marked "GIS Office" to the left. Office Hours are 8 am to 5 pm. The office is usually closed between 12 noon and 1 pm, but if you call ahead, lunch can be rearranged.
