Plan Review
Infrastructure (to include roads, water, sewer, electrical, etc.) is provided in the Commerce Park.
A low density
stormwater permit has been issued by the NC Division of Water Quality for the lots within the Commerce Park.
A low density permit allows up to 30% impervious coverage (building, parking, etc.) for individual lots.
Impervious
coverage can in increased upon issuance of a high density stormwater permit by the NC Division of Water Quality.
A site plan must be approved by the Pasquotank County Technical Review Committee and by the Board of
County Commissioners (declarent for the Commerce Park). The site plan must be approved by the
Technical Review Committee prior to submittal to the Board of Commissioners.
The building plans and specifications must be approved by the Pasquotank County Building Inspector. The
exterior building elevation plan, color scheme, and signage must be approved by the Board of
Commissioners. Concurrent review of the site plan and building plan is allowed.
Site work may be initiated prior to the issuance of a building permit but only after approval of the site plan.
